Friday Edition: Yummy Finds

Happy Friday!  It's been awhile since I've done a Yummy Finds post.  I had hoped to get on the web last night and find some yummy finds on fellow bloggers' sites.  But - Christmas cards won out and the Husband and I wrote, addressed and stamped all of them!

So instead I did a quick search of my magazines this morning and found some really yummy looking winter meals!

Yummy Find No. 1: Apricot Stuffed Pork Loin
From Country Living

via Country Living
I love a good pork roast and I love how this one is so pretty with the apricots in the middle!  Country Living suggests serving this on New Year's Day.  Pork Roast is a pretty Traditional New Year's Day meal.  According to Country Living, pigs have a tendency to root forward, which signifies progress.  Who knew?

Yummy Find No. 2: Meaty Merlot Ragu with Papparadelle
By Better Homes and Gardens

via Better Homes

There is nothing better than a bowl of pasta and meat sauce!  This recipe has a lot of ingredients, but it sure does look and sound good - I mean, it has sausage and beef in it.

  1. I don't like sweets mixed in w/ meat, so I would probably pass on the first, but the second sounds very good to me!
