Friday Edition: Yummy Finds

Usually I am really excited about Fridays, because that means the work week is over and the weekend is just beginning.  But this Friday is different since it is my last official vacation day.  So I am a little sad.

Vacation was fun.  Lots of toddler-filled activities like going to the aquarium and to visit some friends:

Yep, we went to visit Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster and the gang at Sesame Place.  The Toddler loved it the first day.  Not so much the second!  Oh well.  We still had a great time swimming and playing at the hotel!

Needless to say, I didn't cook at all this week.  But eating at kid-friendly restaurants gets to be a little tiresome.  So I am happy to be home so I can cook and share some recipes with you next week.  In the meantime, here are some great looking recipes I found for you!

Yummy Find No. 1
The first yummy find is Nutella Pockets from Veronica at Life in the Thrifty Lane!

Veronica was inspired to make this recipe by a photo on Pinterest.  I have to say, I am inspired to make this recipe based on Veronica's pictures!  Stop over to meet Veronica, who recently moved back to the states from Italy, and check out her cute crafts and Etsy shop!

Yummy Find No. 2
Kathryn at The Sugar Turntable writes about all things cake.  So it was hard to pick just one yummy find from her collection of recipes.  But I decided on Banana Split Cupcakes:

Kathryn ran a successful wedding cake business for four years before becoming a full-time stay at home mom to her two boys.  She started her blog to inspire and help others who have interests in making cakes.  Check out all of her creations here.

Do you have a yummy recipe that you want me to feature?  Let me know!  Leave a contact or email me!
