But the news quickly found something else to love - Hurricane Irene. The way they are hyping it up has motivated me to buy enough canned goods for a week. I am officially freaked out. What about you? Did you feel the earthquake? Are you going to get hit by the hurricane?
Let's leave those worries behind and focus on fun stuff - like the yummy things that I found this week! Both are desserts (yum) and both are pies!

I just found Marci's blog this week and I love the concept behind it - you are always trying to balance aspects of your life. She is funny, she loves shoes, and she posts vegetarian and vegan recipes. When I saw the recipe for Vegan Pumpkin Pie I was intrigued - how can you make a pie without any milk or eggs? Well Marci did, and I can't wait to try it! I hope you stop by and check out Marci's other recipes!
p.s. I am linking up at Design It Chic's blog hop!

So glad you dropped by Happy Hour Projects, though I have to say, it was dangerous of me to visit a foodie site when I'm on a clear liquid diet, LOL!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks delicious. I can't wait for my GERD to be fixed so I can start eating such delectable-looking stuff again. :)
