So it's the first weekend in awhile where there isn't going to be a big nationally televised football game. Woohoo! What are you going to do? The Husband and I are escaping for some much needed time away from jobs, stress, etc. I can't wait!
But in addition to that I am also going to be planning our Super Bowl party. We have never hosted one, so I am excited to find recipes to make. I know many on-line foodie sites have "game plans" and menus, and a lot of them involve wings and chips and dip, but I wanted to highlight a few of the non-traditional menu ideas that I found.

Oh how I love mac and cheese. And buffalo chicken. The combination of the two is just unreal! The recipe looks sinful. But maybe if I make this without doubling the recipe, I would just be able to have 1 small bite, which would satisfy my craving, but not make me feel guilty!

What will you be making for Super Bowl? Do you usually host a party? Let me know if you have any tips.
p.s. Remember the recipe I shared in my guest post at Big D and Me? Well Pepperidge Farm featured it on their Puff Pastry Facebook page! Check it out here (it published on Monday).
Oh, that mac and cheese! One of my favorite foods you know :-)
